Key Facts Regarding the Importance of
Volunteers in Compassion Coalition:
Each member agency agrees to provide a volunteer to assist in the sorting and preparation of agency orders.
A volunteer commits to two hours of service for each Member Agency order that is submitted for fulfillment.
Volunteers work 9:30 – 11:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on other days during the week as needed.
Compassion Coalition, Inc. operates with two paid staff members and over 200 volunteers.
The value of volunteer time over the course of a year is in excess of $412,000.
